Nickie became a part of our family about 5 years ago.
He came to us for a two week stay, until a permanent home could be found.
We drove to the East Coast of Florida to pick him up.
He sat next to me while driving home and every once in a while he would look
into my eyes and that did it!
By the time I pulled into the driveway at home, I had made up my mind...
